Lizard Day 2008

For the 9th year, the Miami Science Museum hosted Lizard Day, a community event featuring lizards and the people who love them. People of all ages participate in celebrating all things herpetological with many bringing their pet lizard with them! Oh My! What fun to see, touch and experience several different lizard species with their owners enthusiastic about explaining every detail in the lives of their pet.

This year, Lizard Day included several special events, including Eat Like A Lizard with two live shows as professional Chef, Kat Duran prepares this unusual and highly nutritional tasty treat for all to enjoy, who can refuse Chocolate "Chirp" Cookies or Meal Worm Oriental Stir Fry. Also featuring Reptile Trivia Scavenger Hunt and our annual contest for the best, biggest and most unusual pets.
